Welcome to Roy Clark Elementary School!

Roy Clark Elementary is a nationally-recognized Community School, where each student is challenged to be personally accountable for behavior and is required to contribute to productive learning experiences in the classroom.

English Learners

It is Union's mission to provide English Learners (ELs) and Immigrant students a high quality program, designed to assist students in learning English and to meet challenging state academic content and student academic standards.

Roy Clark promotes high standards and achievement for all students recognizing individual student potential, personal learning, and cultural experiences.

Literacy

As students spend time reading and writing, teachers meet with small groups and individual students to provide support, teach strategies, and assess progress in reading and writing.

Home Of The Clark Cowboys

We are the home of the Clark Cowboys. Roy Clark Elementary, built in 1977 and dedicated in 1978, was named for the native Oklahoma musician and entertainer, Roy Clark.

Associate Superintendent Charlie Bushyhead & Winston Deeds

Fifty years ago, the number one television show was “All In the Family.” Audiences were laughing to “Blazing Saddles.” And Paul Anka had the biggest hit in the land with “(You’re) Having My Baby.”

And on September 3, 1974, Winston Deeds started working for Union Public Schools as a teacher. Today, he still works for Union as a bus driver and Union staff wanted to show their love for him.
